Jenny Lingl graduated from Michigan State University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing. Ms. Lingl received her Law degree from Michigan State University College of Law, graduating Cum Laude in 2005. She graduated with concentrations in Corporate Law and Taxation Law, and she served as an MSU-Tax Clinician. Ms. Lingl was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2005. She heads the Firm’s Tax Collection Defense practice and represents clients in matters before the Internal Revenue Service, and other federal, state and local agencies.
Jenny is the Tax Collection Defense manager of the Firm’s Financial Crisis Management Practice. Her practice includes advising clients as to their rights and responsibilities in substantive tax law and tax practices and procedures, including Offers in Compromise, Penalty Abatement Requests, Collection Due Process Hearings, and tax litigation in state and federal district and appellate courts, including the United States Tax Court and the Michigan Tax Tribunal.
Jenny is also a member of the United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan, the United States Tax Court, and the Oakland County Bar Association. She is a regular featured guest covering Tax Problem Issues on the “Law and Reality” TV & Radio Show. The show airs on TV20 in Metro Detroit and FOX 66 in Flint on Sunday mornings at 11 AM, and from Noon to 1 PM, Tuesdays on WCHB 1200AM/99.9FM.
